The next Concord Alumni Sustainability Hub event is taking place in central London on the afternoon of Saturday 10th June. As well as an opportunity to enjoy a convivial discussion with other Concordians interested in sustainability issues, there will be a very special guest speaker from the renewable energy industry - Helen Povey from our Student Futures team.
We will be joined by a keynote guest Helen Povey from Concord's Futures team and Orsted, a renewable energy company that takes tangible action to create a world that runs entirely on green energy.
Helen has a background in energy, education and renewable energy transitions. Apart from giving insights into her career journey from oil & gas to offshore wind solutions, she will stay with us for some time to chat and network.
The overarching theme is sharing perspectives on the most important aspects of net zero strategies & most common myths related to this within your line of work/studies.
