From Europe to the Far East, peace resonates with us all in this time of global unease. You are invited to join the students of Concord College as they explore this universal theme. Music and performing arts play a central role in the creative life of the college and in the social and artistic development of all students. Concord will be showcasing its cultural diversity with a celebration of peace, as students take to the stage to perform music, dance, drama and narrative pieces – with many in traditional costume.

Highlights from previous concerts have included a dance inspired by Chinese opera, a bamboo dance from Sarawak, traditional African singing and dancing and the Saman 'dance of a thousand hands' from Indonesia. The students have regularly raised over £3000 for local charities, and this year will be performing in aid of The Shropshire Federation of Women’s Institutes and Rotary Charities.
