In 2008 Beradine Tay pursued her true love for tea by opening up her business Quinteassential.
Using her scientific knowledge (inspired at Concord!) to create unique blends with exquisite flavours, she has since won many 'Great Taste Awards' and is now not only a tea judge but also the Global Tea Curator at Wedgewood and Foundling Director of the European Tea Society.
We are very excited to announce that Bernadine will be working wtih Concord College to develop our very own branded Concord Tea - evoking everything that Concord is, in the taste of a tea!
But we need your help!
Help us to develop Concord Tea with your artwork of Concord for our Concord Tea packaging to help tell story and evoke a sense of individuality for our unique blend.
Please paint a picture (ideally in watercolour) of Concord (you decide - gallery below to inspire) and email us a digital image of your painting to alumni@concordcollege.org.uk by Friday 19th July. Please comment below if you are hoping to submit an entry so we know who to follow up with.
Help us to develop Concord Tea with an image for our packaging that will help tell our Concord tea story and evokes a sense of individuality for our unique blend.
Bernadine is donating her time to create and develop Concord Tea and also donating 250 gift packs to be handed out to all guests at the Concord College 70th Birthday Party on 31st August (if you haven't got your ticket yet

The Art of Tea: Bernadine firmly believes that the enjoyment of flavours is about more than how it tastes, as taste is a multi-sensory experience. Quinteassential’s packaging express flavours not just with words, but through a spectrum of colour and energy using ink and water unique to each blend. Now you can be part of Concords blend!
