Olivia Lock has been Concord's Digitial Marketing Officer for just 2 years and has really made her mark, being responsible for all the digital marketing we see every day. She's moving to a new position in Chester at the end of the term and will be very missed by Suzanne Truss and all the Marketing and Admin teams. Before she heads off, we persuaded her to stand in front of the camera for a change and answer a few quick fire questions.
Q) What has been you most popular Instagram post?
"It was a really short 'before and after' video of the Christmas Tree being put up in 2022 - Click HERE to see it.
Q) Which are your favourite Instagram posts to make?
"I love doing things like sports day and other house sports like rounders and rugby. I also really enjoyed Form 3's performance of Macbeth. It's nice to be out and about amongst the students."
Q) You've also been on some Concord trips. Which have been your favourites?
"I enjoyed going on the Moonlit walk with Mr Brown. The students that came were new to Concord and I remember some hadn't seen sheep before. I also enjoyed going to Arthog, especially the kayaking and gorge walking and spending time with students."
Q) Which of your jobs have you enjoyed the most?"
"I enjoyed helping build the new website and I also enjoy all the design work such as making marketing brochures, banners and even bookmarks."
Q) You manage the content of the Monolith display in Main Hall. Which was your favourite post?
"I liked the one with the footballers on video celebrating their penalities."
Q) What's the funniest thing that has happened to you?
"I have been mistaken as a student and was once told to go to the back of the lunch queue until the member of staff saw my lanyard."
Q) Have you any messages before you head off to your new job?
"I'd like to give a big shout out to all the women who work in Concord's 'admin squad' who may go under people's radar, they do a great job!"
