We love it when Alumni old and new come and visit us at Concord College but please remember that if you do visit, you must make an appointment and register at Reception when you arrive so that we know you are here. We have to ensure the well-being of our current students so need to know who is on campus at all times. And hey...we would like to show you around and share your stories of what life was like when you were here!
If you want to visit, please email the Alumni Officer at alumni.concordcollege.org.uk or call reception on +44 (0)1694 731631 to let us know your preferred dates and times
You are always very welcome but please be aware that we are obligated to ensure we abide by our safeguarding policy.

- Register at reception when you arrive.
- If it has been agreed for you to come at a weekend (you must have permission) please find the duty staff in the staff room or around Main Hall

- You must never enter any of the boarding houses
- If you are meeting current students please arrange to meet them and stay around Main Hall or the Dining Hall

We appreciate that these 'rules' may seem strict but we are not allowed to bend them simply because we know how lovely you are. It is our moral and legal obligation to have a safeguarding policy.
10 Things we KNOW will happen when you visit Concord College!
When we leave school we all drift apart with our lives eventually. Sometimes we are lucky enough to live close to where we went to school but as an international college, many of us live far far away from Concord so do not get to see how it has changed over the years. We all get so busy with our lives that we are only able to visit our alma mater after many years and the changes that we see sends us into fits of nostalgia:
- You will be eager to visit your old hangout places. The dining hall, the library, the staircases..ah, the list is endless.
- You will look for small things that were here during your time. A picture on the wall, a tree or bush in the garden, anything to reassure you that not everything has changed.
- You will explore the whole campus and try to look for things that have changed. You will notice new buildings and things which will make you feel a little sad
- You will search for members of staff who were friendly to you in school. This might be a cleaner, the cook or the House Master…and it will be an absolutely delightful, hour-long conversation with that person when you do find them.
- Your face will brighten when you see your favourite teachers. And the happiness that you will get when they remember your name will mean so much to you.
- You will go in search for your old classrooms, the library and the room you slept in. And imagine your joy when you see your name still etched under the desk.
- But you feel out of place if you find that the classrooms have changed or things have moved. Didn't the common room used to be the library or the dining hall?
- If you are here over lunch or dinner you will rush to the dining hall and search for your favourite food item. And wonde at how much more choice there is now and how you never really appreciated these things when you were here!
- You feel proud when you see that students are smarter and more technologically advanced than you were, but also a little jealous and wish the same had been possible when you were in school.
- When you see the students, you will immediately start thinking of your school days....and your school friends, and the fun you had and the experiences you shared.
And in the end you will always remember to take a selfie or a photo outside of main hall to share it your friends and family back home and in our Facebook Alumni Group!
