Sangeeta Kumar is a second-generation Singaporean Indian and draws upon her experiences growing up in multicultural and multi-religious environments – finding ways to retain her Indian heritage while maintaining a global perspective.

Sangeeta carefully researches foreign cultures and their history then uses this knowledge to influence her various collections. For example, the Yanxi Palace/Forbidden City Collection draws upon influences from ancient China and is inspired by what the inhabitants of royal palaces would have adorned themselves with centuries ago, while adding her own contemporary twist. She has also launched a wedding jewelry collection!

In addition to fabulous earrings, Weald House also sells trinket trays and bowls made using rich jewel toned paints and sealed with a resin finish. The mesmerizing high gloss results are not only beautiful but hardwearing.
